What is the BVE meeting service?

This is an easy to use service created for both visitors and exhibitors to arrange meetings with each other before the show doors open. Connect with existing clients and likeminded customers at BVE.

How does it work?

The BVE meeting service uses your preferences and AI to make suitable recommendations of people to meet with. Along with access to the app and the ability to book advance meetings, we’ll provide a dedicated location to meet contacts away from your stand with intimate pods and comfortable seating areas.

What is the BVE Meeting Service?

BVE is introducing an advanced AI-powered matchmaking platform via GRIP. The platform uses natural language processing, advanced algorithms and deep neural networks to constantly learn about your professional goals and interests. Grip takes the work out of networking through intelligent matchmaking – making it more fun and giving you a higher return on your time.

What are the benefits?

The BVE meeting service allows you to network with other attendees and exhibitors, arrange meetings and identify potential business contacts

How do I log in?

To access the BVE Meeting Service you must register for the show. Upon completing our visitor registration, you will receive a confirmation email that will contain your login details.

You can log in using your BVE 2019 registration credentials:

Username = BVE 2019 registration email

Password = BVE 2019 confirmation number*

*Your confirmation number can be found in your confirmation email, or by logging into your BVE meeting service registration here.

Can I update my BVE Meeting Service preferences once logged in?

Yes, you can change your preferences, interests and profile when accessing the platform. 

How does the matchmaking and meeting functionality work in the BVE Meeting Service?

Once you're logged into the BVE Meeting Service, you will find the recommendations screen where you can click "interested in" or "skip" based on who you want to meet. Those that you show an interest in will receive a notification, if they also send an "interest in"  back to you it will mean a handshake happened, therefore you will be allow to request a meeting with the other person at the show, as well as initiating a private chat with the person.

The default meeting location for visitors will be defined by them at the time of requesting a meeting (eg BVE Meeting Service lounge, Onsite Boulevard, etc.).

The default meeting location for standard exhibitors will their stands, but for those premium exhibitors they will have access to the BVE Meeting Service lounge at the show. 

Can I access the BVE Meeting Service via the mobile app?

Yes, you can access the BVE Meeting Servicevia the mobile app upon clicking on the menu item labelled "Meeting Service". That should prompt you to the login screen where you will need to enter your login details only once.

Having trouble logging in?

It can take up to 24 hours for your registration details to be available in the app.

How do I find networking opportunities?

The platform uses natural language processing and advanced algorithms to recommend networking opportunities. Alternatively you can search for attendees/exhibitors directly or use the filters to find the right profile you’re looking to meet.

Can I add meetings to my calendar?

When a meeting request is accepted it will send a calendar invite to your email address.

What details of mine are displayed in the platform?

The platform will display your professional information including name, job title and company. Information such as telephone number, email address or mail address will not be displayed.

Can I export my connections contact details?

No. Users contact details are not displayed or exportable in the platfclirm.

How do I remove my details from the platform?

Removing your details will mean that you are unable to login or arrange networking opportunities through the platform.  However, if you would like to be removed please send your details to support@grip.events using the subject line “Remove from the BVE meeting service” and we will be happy to remove your details.
