General and Registration

Is BVE free to attend?

Yes, BVE is free to attend.

How can I get a ticket?

You will need to register for your ticket before you attend. You will be sent a confirmation email with a reference number that you can use to print your visitor badge when you arrive onsite. You will also receive your paper visitor badge in the post around 2 weeks before the show.

Am I eligible to attend?

BVE is a broadcast and production industry trade show and therefore we welcome visitors who are actively employed or have a strong professional interest in technology and services related to multimedia production, management and post, and broadcast.

Please be sure to read the entrance policy before you register to avoid disappointment.

Can I bring my child / are there creche facilities?

No. All visitors to BVE must be over the age of 18. There will be absolutely no exceptions.

What about if I am a student?

Students of undergraduate level and above on relevant courses of study are welcome to attend from noon on 26th February.

Please be sure to read the entrance policy before you register to avoid disappointment.

I am a lecturer/teacher. Can I bring a group of students?

Yes, you can register a group of students on relevant courses of study here and they are welcome to attend from noon on 26th February.

Where does BVE take place?

BVE takes place at ExCeL London Exhibition and Convention Centre.

How do I get there?

Travelling to BVE couldn't be easier, with ExCeL's excellent DLR and Tube links and its proximity to major road networks and London City Airport.

Where can I park?

ExCeL London offers onsite parking for 3,700 cars including over 2,000 spaces located directly beneath the venue. The venue is located outside the Congestion Charge Zone. All onsite parking is pay and display, with the exception of the Royal Victoria multi-storey car park. ExCeL London offers 158 disabled parking spaces, located within close proximity of the venue.

ExCeL has 6 onsite hotels offering 1,400 rooms with another 10,000 rooms available within 20 minutes' travel.

What else is there to do in the local area?

ExCeL London lies in the redeveloped Olmpic Park area of East London. The area has many bars and restaurants of its own and is only a short DLR ride away from everything that Central London has to offer.

Seminars

How many seminars are there?

BVE will host over 200 seminars, across 8 theatres over 3 days.

Are seminars free to attend?

Yes, your BVE visitor pass will gain you access to all BVE seminars.

Are the seminars ticketed?

No. You will not need tickets to gain entry to the seminars, however you may have to queue and may not be granted entry if the theatre for has reached maximum capacity. Because of this we recommend planning in advance what sessions you would like to see and making your way to the theatre in good time to avoid disappointment.

How long do the sessions last?

Seminars generally last between 30 minutes to an hour. The theatres will be closed 15 minutes after the start of the session and anyone arriving this late to the session will not be admitted.
